How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming, por Mike Brown

O meu resumo crítico, publicado originalmente em,

“A very “egocentric” view of the scientific process, meaning that it´s clearly centred in one person, one individual and it´s relationship with his chosen profession (astronomy) and his significant others (wife and daughter). I was looking for a scientific account of the entire history of finding and studying a planet, and that´s not (only) what you´ll find in this book. We are also introduced to either “mundane matters” (like how Mike got to know his future wife) or his epiphanies (which there are several along this book). As it turns out, reading about the personal views of Mike Brown helps to understand his character and gives more insight to the scientific process, making this a very enjoyable and enlightning book.”
